B6 (also called Pyridoxine) is the metabolically active form of vitamin B6, which means the liver does not have to convert it into pyridoxal 5 phosphate. Certain people lack the necessary enzyme to convert pyridoxine to pyridoxal 5 phosphate (active form of B6), this helps to make the supplement ultimately bio effective.

B6 assists in the availability of energy and the manufacture of important neurotransmitters (like serotonin), these are beneficial chemicals that are involved in keeping the brain healthy and functioning properly and helps the body to better cope with stress and anxiety.
